This unit discussed the Tense system, and the difficulties a teacher may come across when teaching future tenses. There are several future tense structures, and a couple are sometimes confused with present tense. The key is finding a clever way to help students understand the similarities and differences between the two. For example, future perfect and perfect continuous are often confused. Both tenses involve actions completed in the future, but future perfect describes an action that will be completed a certain time in the future, while future continuous describes how long something will have continued by a certain time. This was a very difficult chapter, only because when learning these topics, I had to keep in mind how I would teach them.
