Unit 11 – Teaching receptive skills
THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST UNIT I HAVE STUDIED!!!
Unit 11 was packed with great information. For example, I had no idea “men and women working in offices often wear business clothes”. Men wear suits, with not only a shirt, but ties!!! Oh and women don't wear ties with their suits. Who knew???
Then there was the Wimbledon tournament in England “strict dress code”... White on white with white shoes. Collared shirts only ladies and gentlemen. However, if you are lucky enough to play in a some tournaments in America. YOU CAN WEAR ANY COLOURS YOU LIKE... *** MIND BLOWN***
But wait the fun facts don't stop there! Get this... the police in most countries must wear uniforms. Who would have thought that would be necessary? I wonder if they get to wear “smart casual clothes” on Friday to make them feel more relaxed at work too? I bet if they did the cops in France would be sure to colour coordinate with the guns they all carry.
