Internalizing what this chapter was teaching was tricky as there were many parts with almost similar explanations. For example, between 3rd conditional and mixed conditional, one needs to be sure if the event or action can or cannot happen technically. I feel getting students talking more during this unit is essential, so students can hear what is direct or indirect speech, rather than doing written exercises. Much practice must be given for students to communicate face to face with each other or as a group to gain understanding on how and when to use direct and indirect speech.
