Production, such as speaking and writing skills, were the main focus of Unit 12. The information in the text was helpful for differentiating the approach when doing an accuracy-focused activity as opposed to a fluency-based activity. Previous to reading this chapter, it had not occurred to me the importance of penmanship. It also presented different sample activities for practicing speaking and writing in the classroom.
