This unit delved into the pros and cons of lesson planning and offered a variety of ways that a prospective teacher can utilize the lesson plan, including a template. This lesson was the most interesting to me, by far, as I enjoy organizing and having a plan even if I don't fully stick to it. I anticipate teaching young learners most often so having a lesson plan is very important to keep everyone on track and engaged in the lesson. I found it particularly interesting the variety of lesson plans that can be made. It makes sense that even a seasoned teacher would have at least a simple version of a lesson plan to keep for future reference and to make sure that they stay on topic. This lesson will certainly be beneficial every day that I am teaching.
