In Unit 7 I learned about ways to teach vocabulary, grammar, and function to English language learners. When learning new English vocabulary, students needs to know the use, meaning, pronunciation, and spelling of the new word. When learning new grammatical structures, students need to understand when to use it, its meaning, patterns that it falls into, and differences between when it is spoken and written. Lastly, when students are learning new language functions, they need to understand when to use each form appropriately.
