As a future teacher, I anticipate picking course materials being where I get caught up in indecisiveness. I will be excited and nervous to choose materials that will be engaging, at the appropriate learning level, and relatively accessible to the students. Ideally, a school might already have most of the course syllabus created or selected for me. If I did heave most of the material chosen for me, it would help me find structure as a beginning teacher. Over time, I imagine it would get more natural for me to develop a flow.
