This unit explained the different categories of language tests and different external exams that I, as a language teacher, might have to prepare students for. The explanations of the external exams were particularly helpful for me because up to this point, I was only familiar with the TOEFL exam. After studying this unit, I have a much better picture of the different language tests acknowledged by different countries, employers, and universities.
