This Unit taught me some helpful tips on developing material for an EFL classroom. It gave great examples of the various types of materials teachers use, such as: authentic (materials in everyday life), created (materials uniquely created for a specific group and teaching goal by the teacher), and textbooks. I found it very useful that the author(s) listed the advantages and disadvantages of textbook use. Teachers that use textbooks should not solely rely upon them for all of their course material.
