Through this unit I have learned the many importances and methods of maintaining a healthy learning environment. From how to control your voice, eye contact and gestures, to the seating plans of the classroom, to the grouping of the students for different activities. One of the things that stuck to me the most was the method of having students repeat the instructions instead of the teacher, not many teachers do this in my area. I also learnt the many ways of maintaining discipline within the classroom through being a good role model, having patience and solving big problems the moment they appear. Thank you OTTY!
