Much like I said in my last reflection, I realize that my students are much better in writing skills as opposed to speaking. The problem is that they don't particularly excel at creative writing either, since they've been using their language learning for rote memorization and practice. It's frustrating to encounter, as they have the skill but seem relatively unable to apply it in real-world situations. Their speaking skills are very low and it needs correction. I've tried many methods of increasing conversation but it always seems like presentation models seem to go over better. I'll try to expose them to new learning while also activating their pre-existing skills.
