I have learnt classroom arrangement, how to use my voice, gestures and eye contact to manage my class. Most importantly, I learned that it is not necessary for a teacher to be talking so much and it is more important to elicit responses from the student themselves. How to maintain discipline is important if I have a large number of students in my class and how to check for the student's understanding of the instructions. This unit has given me a general insight of what it would be like if I have to manage a classroom of more than 20 students.
