Ideas for engage phase: This section is extremely helpful as one of the most challenging tests that teachers have is to keep students engaged. We have to try the activities and see what works with each student. It would be helpful to have examples of what has worked for some teachers.
I don't see many activities that involve music, or watching clips of TV shows or movies. Students tend to get used to the way their teacher sounds, so when another person talks to them, maybe in a different tone or accent, they have difficulties understanding.
