This unit was overwhelming in length but appropriately so given the complex nature of the English language. In this unit, I learned about the different parts of a sentence and their uses. These are all concepts I have mastered and use everyday, but am now more knowledged of specific terminology and technicalities. In a given sentence, there must be a verb and a subject, but the sentence can be further complicated by including adjectives, nouns, definite and indefinite articles, prepositions/conjuctions, more verbs and adverbs. Sentences can get even more complicated when considering different verb tenses and forms, and if there's something I keenly learned, it's that English rules have numerous exceptions to them.
