In this unit, unit 15, evaluation and testing, I learned about all the different types of exams. These include external exams: tests used outside a language institute for a purpose other than the course such as employment, life skills, college, etc. and practice exams which often prepare students for external exams. There are also progress tests taking during the class, diagnostic tests taking at the beginning of the class, and placement tests taken before the class.
