The 2 videos showed a big difference between 2 different teacher attitudes & how it affected profoundly the teaching process & the student participation attitude.
The first one was very bad, he did not introduce himself or make any breaking the ice activity with the student, he kept asking about general situation to elicit the language. He did not prepare his material or knew the students exact number before the class, keep looking at his phone during the study phase rather than monitoring the students. He only called the student with the name tag. Kept correcting mistakes & did not give the opportunity for STT.
On the other hand the second video was the opposite attitude, he introduced himself, did an excellent engaging stage with familiar topics. He used different colors to highlight the difference in the structure & the important changes. He was organized & prepared his material upon the student numbers. He used real objects, acting.. The students were more participating with him.
