The English language is spoken in twelve different tenses, branching off from present, past, and future into subcategories of simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. While I understand the idea and rules of the tenses, it definitely took me quite a while and a lot of extra research to even begin grasping it. I will have to keep that in mind when teaching the tenses, especially since my students won't have the luxury of having English be their native tongue. The structure of sentences dictates the tense, so with that in mind, the content in this section can be fully understand with extra effort and time.
