This unit is fundamental to get ideas of how to build a lesson in a balanced and manageable way regarding grammar, vocabulary, and functions. When I was teaching EAL for beginners I always found so complicated to design an engaging and nice lesson for students with low levels since a lot of times they didn't find any similarity with the vocabulary or verbal tenses to their own native language. I have now discovered new strategies and really useful examples that can be used to design creative and funny classes and that is not just grammar/vocabulary centered in which students just fill in the gaps with almost no understanding of what they are doing. Really enjoyed this unit!
