This unit introduced me to the various types of learners and what I, as their teacher, could expect from them and viceversa; what the students could expect from me depending on their level and age. I enjoyed how it highlights age and experience as an influential factor in the experience of both the student and the teacher, it somehow allowed me to see everyone in the classroom as a learner. Not only will I be teaching English, but they will also be allowing me to learn from what they bring to the classroom: their life experience, creativity, and, overall, their willingness to learn--or lack thereof.
