This unit gives us an overview of teaching different groups of students such as beginners (various levels), children, learners coming for specific business purpose and also how to cope with monolingual and multi-lingual class of students. This is important because it brings us closer to real-life teaching because these varieties are likely to be encountered when one sets out to teach EFL. Homogeneity in class-room is not possible and should not be expected. Hence this unit is very useful because it provides us with tips on how to address the variety. The section on business English and sample of needs analysis form are particularly useful.
