In this unit, I watched two demonstration videos of ESA classes. Upon watching the videos, I have learned that a teacher's attitude somehow affects the student's participation. If the teacher is lively, the students are likely to be more participative in the class too. Also, before conducting activities, the teacher should explain clearly what the activity is about to give the students a brief background on what to expect. Conducting effective classes, for me, doesn't only mean ticking off the teacher's objectives for a specific lesson but also making sure that the learner's objectives are met by ensuring the student's understanding of the lesson.
