This unit offered an overview of different methods that teachers can use with English learners. Some of these theories like grammar-translation, audio-lingualism and presentation, practice and production are heavily used in classrooms I've been in. However, I'm interested in trying out more task-based and communicative learning styles. It seems like experimentation with classes can be helpful in keeping things fresh and alive. I liked learning about how the engage-study-activate an be used in different ways to help language learners. This unit also presented many useful games and activities to use in classes.
