This unit goes in-depth with classroom management regulations which are classified into 3 main categories. First, the teacher's physical presence that depends on the functions of eye contact such as observing the students and maintaining discipline. Additionally, the gesture plays an important role in conveying the meaning of the language and reducing the excessive verbal communication. Second, the unit lays greater stress on the aspects of classroom management that range from grouping students and arranging the classroom, to writing on the board and giving instructions. Third, establishing a strong rapport between the teacher and students, and between the students themselves is very essential for creating a good learning atmosphere. It is merely a combination of good seating arrangement and a positive attitude of the teacher. From this unit, I got an insight into several ways of establishing rapport in the classroom . I also understood the basic rules that prevent problem behaviour with the students.
