This unit provides a clearer picture to me on how to plan my lessons which will generate interest and thus engage my students in responding in English. It also confirms my opinion that reading books suitable or lower than the students' level will help greatly in enhancing their language skills. I have been lending students my Enid Blyton books and personally witness their language improving and when their skills improve, so does their confidence. It has given me great pleasure to see that in personally improving their skills, they will go forward in life achieving what they set out to do.
