Through this unit I have learned the importance of evaluating students of their progress to check their understanding, what they may have forgotten and what needs to be taught. The types of testing and evaluating are as followed; placement tests for teachers to place students in their appropriate class according to their language level. Progress tests for review and revising the current progress of the students, this test is to be done quite often throughout the whole course. Diagnostic test, which is a more extensive version of the placement test used for testing what the kids already know. Finally the practice test which helps students prepare for their external examinations. Through this unit I have also been made aware of the many different external examinations available for students, thank you ITTT!
