This Unit identifies the difference between the past tenses and the grammatical formation of the tense in the past tense sentence. It clarified to me how to identify the tense type from the structure of the sentence.Ex. If a sentence lacked "have or had "it can not be a perfect tense sentence. If the sentence lacked a present participle (-ing) then it can not be continuous. Usage of the tense also differentiates the sentences when in doubt.
