The content of unit 3 is heavy with different methodologies of teaching a language. It also contains a variety of elicitation techniques that are very useful. The elicitation techniques are very useful because teachers need to ask thought-provoking questions to their students frequently to keep them engaged. This applies not only to English language instruction, but also any other subject. Thus, I find the list to be very informative. The Engage-Study-Activate (ESA) methodology is also a very useful information. I have been using something similar, but only now know what it is called. The list of ideas for Engage phase from this unit is also extremely useful. Correction techniques introduced here are also beneficial for any aspiring or current teacher.
