Unit 12 is about productive skills (i.e. Speaking and writing). It talks about the importance of accuracy and fluency in productive skills, activities to do in the classroom to encourage speaking, ESA activity lesson for speaking and writing, games in classroom and so on.
One of the problems i always encounter while teaching (especially students of my country) is that- students are reluctant to speak. From this unit, i was able to be aware of the reasons for it (in my case- cultural reasons and lack of confidence mostly). I was also able to get insights on encouraging students to speak more.
