This unit was visual in nature showing two videos of ESA style classes. The first was an example of a poorly taught class. The teacher arrived after the students, did not engage them at the beginning of class, and lost numerous opportunities to increase student talk time. His attitude was hurried and apathetic towards the individual students and displayed harsh responses to incorrect answers without allowing for self correction or peer correction.
the second class was an example of a well taught lesson, with more engagement, less teacher talk time, and well defined activities.
