This unit made me realize all the different factors that go into managing a classroom. It made me realize that one cannot just teach the same lesson plan to all types of classes without making key changes based on the types of students. I now understand that working as a tutor with one student will be completely different from working as a teacher in front of a class of twenty students. In more detail, this lesson made me understand that even the small factors that a teacher does, such as their appearance and tone of voice, have critical impacts on how good of a teacher that person will be and if I want to be a good teacher I must have a strong understanding of all the different factors that go into managing a classroom and this chapter was very helpful in giving me a strong understanding of that.
