In this unit I examined and learnt the principles of Modal auxiliary verbs i.e. that Modal verb are followed by a verb in its base form. I also learnt the fundamental of the Passive versus the Active voice i.e. the object of an active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb. Finally, I also learnt what constitutes 'Relative Clauses' and the three types that define these clauses. All valuable concepts to learn pursuant to becoming an effective Teacher of the English Language to foreign students.
