In this unit, unit 6, I learned about past simple tense, past continuous tense, past perfect tense, and past perfect continuous tense. With continuous tense, you use "to be" and then "ing." This tense is used to describe something that began before and continues after, often with descriptions. Perfect tense is "to have" and then the past participle. This means it occurred before other actions in the past. Perfect continuous is "to have" and "been" and "ing."
