In unit nineteen entitles teaching special groups we discussed different methodologies that would be helpful in each varying group. The special groups in this lesson consisted of young students, children, if you will. We discussed different techniques that vary when teaching children, also the fact that children may not be as stoked to have to learn English because sometimes children just want to play Futbol. So, when teaching children it is best to be animated and fun. When teaching adults you are more likely to find motivated humans that want or specifically need to learn English for work or travel or because they can't understand American television so you'll have a captive audience. The problem with adults is that it is harder to learn a language at an older age and some of them can be in the fifties and have never spoken a word in English. When teaching business professionals English in a classroom setting it is important to keep in mind the roles those individuals play in their profession so as to not embarrass anyone in particular.
