What I took out of this unit, was the different theories and methods that can be used by a teacher when teaching English to a foreign speaking person. I feel that the methods brought up in this unit all have differing advantages and disadvantages. The methods mentioned in the above unit should also be used in a combination with each other as they can be used to compliment each other well, as a learning tool for a student trying to pick up English as a second language. Correction and study types is also very important and should be taken into careful consideration.
