This unit covers teaching aids (such as DVDs, IWBs, OHP, visuals, worksheets) that will enhance the teaching and learning process. Interactive whiteboards--although expensive--can be extremely beneficial to student's learning. From my experience, IWBs can capture the student's attention and shorten teacher preparation time. In many classrooms in the US today, overhead projectors are a thing of the past. I remember when my teachers struggled to erase the sheets on an OHP. I think that moving forward, computers will be extremely helpful to a student's learning since we have softwares such as Google Classroom to aid the learning process. However, I think that teachers still need to be mindful to use authentic materials and not just fancy aids.
