While I had already learned much of the content of Unit 3 through my teaching credential program or experience in the classroom, I found the sections covering the pros and cons of different seating arrangements very helpful, as knowing which arrangement to use in my classroom has been a struggle for me in the past. I also learned some valuable information from the section on the pros and cons of different groupings, especially in relation to how the different possibilities will likely affect students who are learning a new language. It is also helpful to be refreshed on overall classroom management strategies, such as their statement about it being possible to have too many rules--it is easy to over-prepare in this way, and then have a difficult time enforcing an excessive number of rules.
