This unit treated about coursebooks and materials. Usually, coursebook is a sensitive topic for teachers as each one of them will have his own preference for particular ones rather than others. Due to diversity of choice and accessibility, the teacher will in reality builds and uses his own materials as he will have to cover the elements missing on the usual coursebooks (students usually find this more interesting as it will more be adapted to their needs).
We have two different kind of materials: authentic materials (anything a native speaker will hear or read), and created materials (designed by the teacher to cover the missing information from coursebooks).
