This section focused on the theories of teaching language, with a particular emphasis on the Engage, Study, Activate (ESA) method. This method helps to bring students into a learning setting that is marked with opportunities to focus in on language (I.e grammar, pronunciation, syntax etc.), but also provides motivation and opportunities to practice the language lessons in a controlled setting. ESA is flexible in structure, which allows for different paces to meet the needs of students at different ages and learning levels.
