This unit focuses on the future tenses and is definitely the most complicated unit so far. The seven most common future tenses are the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, the present simple, and the present continuous. This is how I think about these tenses to make them easier to remember. Future simple: will, future continuous: will be, future perfect: will have, future perfect continuous: will have been, be going + infinitive: is going to, present simple: present without +ing, present continuous: present + ing. As I am going to be teaching students whose native language only technically has one tense, I think that the future tenses will certainly be a difficult area to teach.
