This unit is helpful for learning how to teach a new language to students. First teachers must take into consideration of vocabulary, then grammatical structures, and language functions. We learned how to use the EAS structure to help students overcome each of the tasks. Engagement should come before any of the activation or studying because students should feel motivated and excited to learn. I think teaching language function will be the hardest because teachers must have a crystal clear lesson in order to guide students to achieve the language functions.
