In this unit, I learned, to my despair, how often English writing skills are neglected in TEFL. As a personal strength and point of pride, I hope that I can increase the amount of practice my future English-learners have with this skill. While the speaking section was very helpful as well, the ideas for English writing practice activities and how to approach teaching them was even more appreciated because writing skills seem to have been neglected in my own Spanish language classes during my high school and college years. Having some detailed concepts provided for this will help me to implement more writing in my own TEFL classroom.
