This unit (3) on Managing Classes covered the use of a teacher's voice, gestures and eye contact effectively. The various style of arranging a classroom for various activities and levels of students are clearly explained. The teacher as a "keeper of class discipline" and how problematic students can be managed is definitively useful. Even the little section on turning a teacher's back while writing on the board is tastefully explained.
Personally, I took note of the questioning technique where the name of the student is called after the question, in order to keep the other students alert.
