This Unit is focused on Lesson planning and it's importance. The lesson plans are used as aid to planning, as working document and also used as a record of what was achieved in the class.
In my opinion is important to have a plan for the class, in order to have the students engaged and to avoid monotony. However a lot of teacher become "robots" following strictly the lesson plans, what makes the classes predictable and quite boring.
A good teacher should follow the lesson plans but he/she should be skilled enough to know when to "free-style" in case the class is not going as planned, or if the student are not participating.
