This Unit covered the basics on the roles and attributes of teachers and students of the English language.
It explained that a good teacher needs to be comfortable in many different roles in a classroom and to know when to use what role. From Manager to Monitor every role has a time and a place. A good teacher also needs to develop relationships with her students in order to know how best to encourage and motivate them to excellence.
This Unit also described a good student as one with the courage to ask questions and to try speaking even when unsure.
