This unit covered the roles of a teacher, what makes a good teacher, what makes a good learner, different language levels of ESL students, common reasons for ESL students wanting to learn a new language, and how to approach the attitudes and behaviors that commonly appear among students of different ages.
Since I have already gone through a teaching program and taught my own class for a year, some of this information was not new for me, but I did learn about the different levels of language students may be at and how the behaviors of students at those levels tend to behave. In addition, I found it very valuable to learn some of the ways these different behaviors or attitudes towards the language may be handled effectively.
