This unit presents all of the basic parts of speech that are part of English grammar. I definitely learned a lot more from this unit than I did from the first unit. There are common, proper, compound, abstract, and collective types of nouns. The unofficial rules of ordering adjectives were interesting to me because I definitely agree that they exist, but had never thought about it before. When presenting articles, the unit teaches that there are indefinite articles (a and an) and definite articles (the). All verbs are either transitive or intransitive and a transitive verb is a verb that is followed directly by an object. That is another new thing that I learned, since I did not know what those classifications of verbs were until reading this unit.
