This lesson covers what teachers should consider because using course books and lesson materials. Teachers should be mindful of authentic materials and created materials and use them to meet the students' needs. Course books are standard, but can make a teacher less creative. The authentic materials are nice, but they are time consuming. One thing this lesson doesn't cover are resources/websites teachers can go on to borrow/print out works from other teachers. I appreciate the freedom that teachers get when choosing course books, but I understand that not every teacher gets that freedom.
