This unit covered how to set up lessons to teach vocabulary, grammar, and functions. Within teaching vocabulary it covered what items are relevant to how the student learns, how to select vocabulary for different levels, and gave examples of sample lesson structures. Within grammar the lesson covered what students will need to know, and gave some sample techniques. In regards to function, it gave examples of some functions and gave example ESA lessons breakdowns. This unit gave examples of how to implement ESA lesson structures when covering different topics within a new language.
