This section provides an overview of grammar and the different parts of speech. It gave me confidence to accept the fact that while I do not understand all grammar mechanics, as most do not, that this is acceptable. That said, they emphasized the importance of it to bring confidence to my students whom I teach that I am competent on the subject matter. It also gave me encouragement and new insights into how to confront this aspect of English language as a teacher and how to teach it. For instance, I felt it is quite a bit more clear to see an example for each as a means of learning and in a comparative manner.
