This unit covered the seven formations of the future tense, the future simple, the future perfect, the future continuous, the future perfect continuous, the going to future, present simple, and present continuous. I was surprised to learn how many formations of the future tense there are. It was also a surprise to learn about the ways that the present tense convert to express the future tense. In many ways, I felt that learning about the future tense was helpful to put myself into the shoes of my future students.
